The Pregnancy Weight Tracker allows you to track your weekly pregnancy weight against the average of what you should gain per week to maintain a pregnancy weight gain between 25-35 pounds:

  • First Trimester: 3-4 pounds
  • Second Trimester 12-14 pounds
  • Third Trimester 8-10 pounds; this could be 1 pound per week during month 7 and 8 and 0 pounds, or dropping weight in the 9th month
  • Though my description is in US pounds, you can actually track in kilograms, as well, by just entering your weight. You should listen to what your doctor says is appropriate for you, your body type and type of pregnancy (e.g. carrying twins).

    This tracker allows you to specify your own goals for weight gain by trimester so that you can come up with your own plan with your physician and track your weight against your own goals. For each trimester enter the TOTAL amount of weight you expect to gain during that trimester, the tracker will calculate how much per week to use on the graph.

    This template contains 1 view that graphs your Average Weekly Weight Gain. The view shows your weekly weight gain compared against your calculated weekly target (based on the data you entered for your trimester goals). It also includes a line displaying your total weight gain goal so you can see (unfortunately) how close you are getting to your total goal. Be sure and enter at least 2 measurements in 2 different weeks or you won't see any data since this is a line graph.
